We recently enjoyed a mini getaway at this luxurious riverside hotel. The location was perfect, offering quick access to the city center. The staff provided first-class service, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room amenities were top-notch, including tea and coffee facilities, a well-stocked mini-bar, and a comfortable sitting area. We were particularly impressed with the spaciousness of the room, with a separate dressing area and plenty of storage space. The hotel also had a fantastic dining restaurant, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes. Furthermore, the leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and fitness center, were well-maintained and provided the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to everyone seeking enhanced comfort and quality services.

For an older hotel, everything was great. Think there must have been a recent refurb. I was there to take part in a mountain bike race as were many others, and the staff even cleaned our bikes on the way to the rooms. Friendly effeicent staff. Breakfast was good enough and included. English tv in a well airconditioned very clean room, power shower hot water.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The suite we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with unique character reminiscent of an old English farmhouse. Despite a wedding party and political rally nearby, we experienced a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, both Asian and Western. The hotel's pool was the largest we've seen in Thailand, and the gym provided a great view of the pool and palm trees. The staff were friendly, well-presented, and provided top-class service.
Nothing could have been better.

We had a massage at the hotel and it was excellent. Not many of the staff could speak English but those that could we're very helpful. We used it as a transit stop between Phuket and koh phangan. Shower was excellent.
No wifi in the rooms. Rooms getting a bit dated.

We only stayed one night at the Wangtai but enjoyed our experience there. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast excellent. Close proximity to the night markets and a cheap "Tuktuk" ride to the airport gave us all we needed for a transit hotel. The swimming pool was a bonus.

The hotel was conveniently located and had a great price. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options to choose from and you can have as much as you want. , there was a nice pool to relax in after a long day of work.
The room was a bit outdated and could use some renovations. The bathroom was not as clean as expected and needed some attention.

Hotel with "traditional style." Friendly staff with clean and comfortable room. Also, quiet with good breakfast and pool. Close to market and "river walk" - where there is a number of eating establishments. Short taxi ride to Bus Station. Hotel offers full facilities for booking to Samui/Phuket. Exceptional value - would certainly stay at the Wang Thai again...Paul (Australia)
Had no dislike for anyhthing about the Wang Thai
